![]() Obviously, the t-rex earned it’s reputation as the ” hero” when it and the velociraptor “Blue” teamed up to battle the indominus. ![]() Because of this, he deserves a role in the new movie. Even though you usually saw him jump out of the water to attack something, it did exactly that and defeated the indominus rex. The mosasaurus, though not exactly a dinosaur, is a huge aquatic reptile. Hopefully, it will appear again, because it’s quite unique though it couldn’t in real life, it was a little poison spitter that could easily blind someone. Sadly, this tiny but mighty dinosaur has only been seen in one movie. Will they interfere with the other dino stars? Who knows. We also know that there will be three new dinosaurs- the baryonyx, carnotaurus and Indoraptor. So, I’ve come up with a list of the top 5 dinosaurs who have to stay for the epic finale. And by now, we know who the coolest dinosaurs are. I’m sure we are all excited for the new Jurassic World movie Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. I hope you enjoyed this review, and I will see you all very soon! Here is my ranking for all of the Jurassic movies. The return of old characters, classic and new dinosaurs, amazing practical and digital effects, and overall, an enjoyable experience for all dinosaur lovers. Though I wouldn’t say Dominion tops the original Jurassic Park, I absolutely loved this movie, and it served it’s purpose of closing a franchise that has been very close to my heart my whole life. Everyone loved that movie regardless of it’s flaws, so there really is no reason for Dominion to be talked down the way it is. That movie also had a large gathering of old and new characters, and a very convoluted plot, with certain concepts either having confusing explanations, or none at all. ![]() Sure, there were plot holes, and convoluted explanations for things, and maybe the villains could have been developed better, but honestly, this movie has all of the same problems as another recent film, Spider-Man: No Way Home. There are so many great easter eggs, references, and callbacks to the original Jurassic Park, and it’s clear this movie was meant to celebrate the franchise as a whole, and cater to hardcore fans. Hats off to Jeff Goldblum especially for keeping Malcolm’s charm strong as ever, as he provided some of the funniest scenes in the film. It was so exciting to see the legacy trio of Alan Grant, Ian Malcolm and Ellie Sattler interacting with Jurassic World characters, and it provided great continuations for certain character arcs. Of course, we cannot go without bringing up the gathering of old and new Jurassic characters. There are some incredible scenes with this thing, so I advise those of you who haven’t seen the movie yet to tame your expectations for the Giga, and start looking forward to the (didn’t feel like spelling it again). If anything, the role of “big scary monster dinosaur” should have gone to the Therizinosaurus. There was so much build-up in the movie’s promotion, and we expected this creature to be super violent and scary, but in the film, we only see it for a short while, and it doesn’t feel super intimidating to watch. I believe the villain dinosaur, the Giganotosaurus, could have been more well-established. It seems CGI was only used when absolutely necessary, and as a result, the dinosaurs feel very alive, not fabricated. The heavy use of animatronics and practical effects really add to the authenticity of the movie. Let’s talk about the dinosaurs, the real stars of the film. This isn’t just a loud dinosaur movie- it’s a well thought-out, philosophical piece of art. ![]() I enjoyed the scientific explanations and subplots, and the constant moral questions that are asked while the consequences of decisions unfold. Trust me, nobody would have wanted this franchise ending with something like the mess that was Jurassic Park 3. ![]() I will admit that this movie has a bit of a messy plot, and some things weren’t fully necessary, but simplifying what is supposed to be a massive finale would have been much worse. Apparently, it’s “overcomplicated”, and “focuses on the wrong subjects”. I think this movie gets a lot of undeserved hate. It introduces the concept of a world filled with dinosaurs, and how people and corporations are managing new lives where they are forced to coexist with some of history’s most powerful, dangerous creatures. This is meant to be the big conclusion to the “Jurassic Era”, serving as a finale for both the original Jurassic Park trilogy, as well as the current World franchise. Also, in case you couldn’t tell, I am back from that wonderful little break I had, ready to start working here again.Īfter years of anticipation, Jurassic World: Dominion has released in theaters. Before we begin, shout out to for following the site! The support is much appreciated. ![]()
